The buttress forms a lateral wall that provides compression in extension followed by relaxation in flexion which improves patella tracking. The FreeRunner knee brace buttress provides the correct amount of compression and support by using Smart-Zone compression fabrics that provide support and compression in front without binding in the back for a comfortable fit. The brace's nylon hinges and compression zones provides runners with lightweight (just 7 oz) support and effective dynamic patella control.
